March in Review: Charging into the Final Quarter of the project with Innovation and Synergy

March has been a pivotal month for the Blood2Power project. As we move closer to our final objectives, our teams have worked exceptionally well together, completing a series of technical and strategic landmarks.

Strengthening Our Technical Foundation

Effective communication is the backbone of our progress. This month, we held two regular online meetings (March 4th and 18th) to ensure all work packages remained aligned.

Furthermore, a specialised in-person technical meeting was held involving partners from i3S, UPORTO, and TECNUN. This meeting was crucial for addressing complex experimental settings and resolving technical challenges. By bringing our experts together in one laboratory, we were able to refine our methodologies and optimize the performance of our current prototypes.

Critical in vivo Validations in Vienna

One of the most significant highlights of the month was the execution of two major in vivo experiments in Vienna on March 3rd and 19th. These experiments required the active participation and expertise of all project partners (MUV, TECNUN, i3S, and UPORTO).

The successful coordination of these tests represents a major step forward in validating our technology in real-world scenarios. The data gathered from these sessions in Vienna is vital for the next phase of our research.

Strategizing for the Final Quarter

The month culminated on March 27th with our 3rd Mid-Term Meeting. This plenary session allowed the entire consortium to:

– Analyze the main achievements reached so far

– Review the latest experimental results

– Finalize the roadmap for the last quarter of the project.

Our Commitment

As we enter this final stage, our commitment remains stronger than ever. The Blood2Power team is dedicated to overcoming the remaining technical hurdles and achieving the ambitious goals we set at the beginning of this journey. We are proud of the collaborative spirit shared by all our partners and look forward to sharing our final results soon.
